1- Backup Administrator
Job Descriptions:-•
Data protection and backup recovery solutions
familiarity such as using virtual tape, disk to disk to tape, Virtual
Machine recovery, and recovery solutions.
• Creating Policies and Schedule Daily, Weekly,
Monthly and Yearly data Backup.
• Install, configure as well as maintain storage hardware
backup inclusive of physical plus virtual tape
libraries or drives along with disk storage targets.
• Replication and Duplication Tasks.
• Ensure to install as well as configure NetBackup customer
software on Windows or Linux as well as Windows systems.
• Perform activities related to install, configure and
managing NetBackup’s Agent on each server.
• Manage Symantec netbackup snapshots as well as recovery methods for storage volumes.
• Execute across-site replication of significant DR data.
• Supervise volume replication overnight jobs and execute improvements.
• Collaborate with DBA as well as Ops to assure apt storage usage.
• Experience managing data center operations, including
data assurance, monitoring, alerting and notifications.
Job requirements-
• As for computer science with a minimum grade of good
or acceptable, with at least 3 year of experience in IT field.
• NetBackup Administration Course.
• NetBackup application backup/restore utilities and scripting (GUI & CLI) experience
• System Administration Skills (both Red Hat Linux and Windows with emphasis on Linux skills)
• Knowledgeable of Oracle, SQL, and Exchange backups.
• Problem solver with troubleshooting, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Able to work and interact with others in a structured / team environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle competing work demands
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

2- Database Administrator
Job Purpose:-•
We are seeking technically skilled database administrators
who are capable of holding positions of great responsibility.
Being both an administrative and technical role,
the database administrator should display both sound technical skills and administrative aptitude.
You should have extensive knowledge of the databases under your administration,
be the first respondent to database problems that arise,
and carry out periodic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• In addition, database administrators are analytic problem-solvers
and communicators who are fluent in most data manipulation languages.
Job Responsibilities:-•
Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply
new patches and versions when required.
• Responding in a timely manner to user-reported errors.
• Protecting the database against threats or unauthorized access.
• Ensuring that the database is adequately backed up
and able to be recovered in the event of memory loss.
• Reporting on metrics regarding usage and performance.
• Suggesting changes and improvements for maintenance or protection
• Designing databases with both front-end and back-end users in mind.
• Building database systems of high availability and
quality depending on each end user’s specialized role
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
• ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly
• carry out capacity planning
Job Requirements•
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer systems engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in data manipulation languages, including Oracle Database, MS SQL or PostgreSQL.
• 4-5 Years of experience in Database Administration
• worked on ( Oracle Data Guard – Oracle ASM – oracle Rack –
Oracle OEM – Database vault – Data Reduction – Masking ) and
(Microsoft SQL always on cluster – Masking – TDE)
• Analytic mindset and good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence working under pressure
• Maintaining an awareness of trends and developments in database administration
