Job Purpose
The key responsibilities of the job holder are maintaining the day-to-day management of all cash and payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner within Digital Egypt Company for Investment (DEFI).
Job Accountabilities
•Handle petty cash. Review Expense claims and analyze expenses items. Ensure that expenses are in line with approved matrixes, budget and according to the company’s policy and procedures.
•Maintain a detailed record of all cash transactions. Maintain regular physical count in coordination with the Finance Manager for the petty cash balances on hand.
•Assist Finance team in cash forecasts, audits and ASA requirements.
•Ensure that proper approvals are obtained as per the delegation of authority policy for all cash transactions.
•Any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier work flow, within the main frame of the job’s specialty.
Education
•Bachelor degree in Accounting.
•Professional financial or accounting certificates are a plus.
Required Experience
•0 – 3 years of experience in a related job field.
•Experience in the ICT Industry (Information and Communication Technology) is a plus.
Required Skills
•Solid understanding of accounting concepts.
•Ability to take initiative and work pro-actively and with minimal guidance.
•High analytical and problem solving skills.
•Ability to work under pressure.
•High integrity and professional ethics.
•Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
•Good verbal and written communication skills.
•Good organizational and time management skills.
