Job Purpose
Participate in the monthly submission of all legal entities results to corporate including Bison submission, inter-company accounts, Fixed assets, reconciliation and statutory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Support the monthly submission of all legal entities results to corporate ‘Bison submission’.
Participate in the month end closing in addition to the financial system JDE maintenance.
Responsible for all inter-company accounts including monthly reconciliation, confirmation with the group.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper inter-company cut-off, follow up / clearing mismatch and confirming final statement of balances.
Responsible for maintaining car loan accounts, ensuring proper documentation, reconciliation and enhancing controls / simplifying way of working / process.
Responsible for fixed assets accounts ‘commercial only’ including monitoring of projects, transfer fixed assets, additions, disposals and monthly depreciation in addition to maintain the fixed asset register.
Responsible for monthly general provision / accruals, ensuring proper recording, adequacy and compliance with the company SOP and accounting standards.
Manage the statutory audit process for the In Country Shared Services teams liaising with the External Auditors, Egypt head of ICSS and internal & external audit.
Knowledge/ Education / Previous Experience Required
University Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
At least 5 years working experience.
Good knowledge of Financial accounting and reporting standards.
Excellent computer skills and command of JDE and e-form system.
Excellent command of English Language – written and spoken
Strong time management and planning to manage workload and ensure meeting all key deadlines.
Strong analytical skills and actively seek to improve processes, controls and expand effectiveness and efficiency.
Self-motivated and displays proactivity in solving problems
Excellent communication and interpersonal influencing skills.
