EVENTS SUPERVISOR
Events Supervisor with 7 years of experience is required to join the Ministry of Planning & Economic Development (MPED) according to the following details:
Main Responsibilities:
· Manage the ministry’s events calendar.
·Responsible for developing, implementing and analyzing measurable research methodologies to enhance the MPED’s events.
· Set the budgeting plan of events, which align with and enhance the MPED’s overall strategic communications strategy, from concept creation to delivery phases.
· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support in ascertaining a clear scope of work for various events, that includes, but is not limited to, production of plans detailing project mapping, timelines, venues, layouts, programs, suppliers, staffing, budgets, identifying speakers and invitees’ lists, logistical and on day operational plans and coordination with venues, caterers, stand designers, contractors and suppliers, while considering legal, health and safety obligations.
· Arrange the communications with external events management agencies and supervise on the delivery of the agreed requirements with different vendors, supervise vendors and ensure execution for different preparations to ensure all the different requirements and tasks are efficiently processed and executed.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor degree in business administration or a related field is required
· Preferably previous work experience in an agency and/or a corporate organization.
Key Skills:
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, project management and presentation skills.
· Excellent time management, planning, and project management skills.
· Good writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
· Proficiency in MS Office applications.
· Design and multimedia content development skills are strongly preferred.
· Flexibility in work hours according to operational needs.
