Mindfield Resources WANTS Senior Manager – Tax and Compliance
Our Client: A leading conglomerate in the Retail sector with several famed brands under their portfolio.
Your Role: The candidate will coordinate with the business and IT segment to introduce and manage several Tax related requirements, hence ensuring compete tax compliance. You will be updated on the current and upcoming taxation developments, analyse the effects and work with stakeholders to introduce new developments in strategies. Will develop and implement improvements to the tax accounting process to enhance compliance. Engage in Business and Corporate strategy development and execute tax compliances process strategies. Monitor the day-to-day tax accounting, planning, compliance, and policy functions. Develop a tax strategy and structure for new brands under the company’s portfolio, in accordance with the compliance framework. Maintain timely completion of international and domestic, direct, and indirect tax returns and manage the tax applicability, collection, and reporting processes. Conduct tax inspections in correlation with the tax consultants and analyse and implement the relevant internal controls of tax accounting processes.

Must Have: The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s/ Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Audit and Tax. Must have at least 10 years of experience in a Retail company with extensive knowledge of the Taxation in the Middle East region. The candidate must be well versed with Microsoft Office 365 and Oracle. Must possess experience in effective team management and have excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
