Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs using SAP development and design tools. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.
- Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and business owners to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
- Confer with data processing and project managers to obtain information on limitations and capabilities for data processing projects.
- Designs, develops and modifies software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
- Determines system performance standards.
- Develops and directs software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Modifies existing software to correct errors; allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
- Obtains and evaluates information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
- Stores and retrieves data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
- Coordinates software system installation and testing to ensure specifications are met.
- Consults with Hospital staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
- Directs software programming and development of documentation.
- Evaluates factors such as reporting formats required, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine hardware configuration.
- Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
- Support SAP users on daily work and issues.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Ensures safety standards (occupational and patient safety).

You are an experienced IT professional with excellent analytical and problem-solving skill. You have the ability to foresee issues and risks and escalate to leadership if necessary. You have a good understanding of business processes and an integrated focus on the system design
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills, both in English and Arabic;
- Analytical mindset.
- Problem-solving aptitude;
- Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting;
- Ability to work under pressure.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Certified Course in Web Designing;
- SAP certification is must;
- 3 to 5 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified..
