الوصف الوظيفي
Main responsibilities are:
1. To lead the Oil Spill Combatting to ensure that any oil spill situations are properly contained and controlled so as to mitigate any negative effects to the environment. To ensure that all oil spill response equipment is properly maintained and serviced to meet operable conditions at all times.
2. Ensure proper documentation of oil spill equipment.
3. Act as on-scene commander; Risk management,
4. Conduct oil spill investigation and formulate rectification programs.
5. Formulate and conduct oil spill awareness, prevention and other oil spill related training programs.
6. Acts as spill/environmental issues consultant.
7. To satisfy TMD responsibilities, obligations and accountabilities reflected on KJO OSCP.
8. Ensure to close oil spill related audit items.
9. Supervises the preparation of timely and accurate departmental reports which conform to Company and department requirements, policies and standards
Prepare equipment maintenance report and other reports as assigned.
المهارات
Bachelor Degree in Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
10 years working experience in oil & gas field with at least 6 years’ experience in oil spill combating & response, spill surveillance, oil quantification, forecast oil trajectory, supervision of various response teams. Trained & accredited oil spill IMO responder with certificates from internationally recognized oil spill organizations. Computer knowledge skills – Word, Excel and Power Point. Good command of English both oral & written. Full Knowledge in MARPOL/SOLAS/IMO regulations along with Environmental Polices & standards. Professional on spill equipment & vessels/chemical utilization. High safety skills is required.
