EMBER Medical, a US based multinational digital health startup, is seeking a Software Testing Engineer.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Software Tester to be responsible for designing and running software tests. As a software testing engineer, you will need to have a deep understanding of what needs to be tested at any given time, including GUI designs, load, or stress testing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in automation of software testing and able to design test suites accordingly. Candidates should also be comfortable using various kinds of automation tools and capable of upgrading their skills with changing trends. The ideal candidate’s programming skills should make it easy to write test scripts, conduct actionable tests, analyze results, and report observations to the Q.A. manager. You may also interact with clients in order to understand the requirements of the product.
Responsibilities:
Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.
Execute test scenarios and test cases on software.
Analyze test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
Translate and understand the requirement and design test procedures and test cases for automated software testing.
Design automated test scripts that are reusable.
Ensure that all automated testing-related activities are carried out as per the standards defined by the company.
Prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and report results to the Q.A. manager.
Interact with clients to understand product requirements.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
2 to 5 years of working knowledge in test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
2 to 5 years of working knowledge of programming.
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
