ER Productions wants Repair Technician – Electrical & Mechanical Equipment (Entertainment Sector)

As a Quarantine Technician your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- • Be responsible for the repair of all faulty equipment, ensure no more than 20 items are in quarantine at any one time. When required request additional support from the Regional Manager and Technical Director.
- • Ensure all commonly used spares are stocked at all times so that repairs can be completed without lengthy delivery times causing equipment to be out of action for too long.

You will be working in a fast-paced international business working across multiple time zones and to tight deadlines and last-minute changes, therefore it is important that you have the following Skills and Experience:
- • Ability to fault find electronics to component level using appropriate testing tools and procedures
- • Ability to solder PCBs utilising through hole and surface mount components
- • Computer literate and able to use equipment tracking applications and the Microsoft Office suite of software
- • Ability to work alone, or as part of a team, working under pressure to meet set deadlines
- • 2 Years Experience in diagnosing electrical and mechanical systems, ideally within the entertainment industry, such as moving light servicing
- • 2 Years Experience in repairing PCBs down to component level
- • Experience with keeping stock/service records up to date on a rental management system or similar software
In addition to these technical skills, you must also have:
- • Very strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
- • Great attention to detail.
- • Enthusiasm, organised and operate with urgency.
- • A Full driving licence.
