Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct.
- Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department/service and within the hospital as per Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.
- Actively participates in all the education requirement and activities as per the Hospital Education Program.
- Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of practice and employment contract.
- Supports the laboratory department’s hardware and data file maintenance as it related to application software.
- Develops laboratory management report as requested in relationship to laboratory information system.
- Prepares and maintains documentation, including laboratory system specifications and technical documentation.
- Organizes and conducts end-user laboratory training, as needed, for assigned applications.
- Participate in the regular/departmental meetings and daily presentation activities within the department for staff advancement.
- Coordinates and supports the day-to-day aspects of all laboratory applications.
- Designs and implements Laboratory Information System (LIS) both hardware and software or add new software applications to existing hospital systems.
- Ensures laboratory computer/application, hardware/software processes continually function smoothly and are monitored.
- Able to interface/integrate the laboratory equipments with the Hospital Information System.
المهارات
- Experience in existing and future laboratory technology and applications.
- Proven experience in interfacing laboratory analysing device and third party systems with applications using HL7.
- Good understanding of web databases
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with users and staff who have a variety levels of knowledge, skills and responsibilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving techniques.
- Should have proven record of developing mobile application and able to design and
- develop Model View Controller (MVC).
