Required to work contract management officer in Saudi Arabia
Prepare for contract implementation; Additional information and KPIs required to
monitor contract execution are collected and uploaded in the system by the Contract
Administrator.
Mobilize the contract; the Contract Mobilization Checklist is defined by the Contract
Administrator and agreed by Contract Owner and Supplier. Responsibilities are assigned
to the relevant stakeholders by the Contract Administrator, who is responsible to
monitor the application of the actions agreed in the checklist.
Monitor contract compliance and performance; contract performance and compliance
to terms and conditions is assessed by the Contract Administrator, based on the
collection of all the relevant stakeholders’ feedback.
Monitor contract consumption; contract consumption is monitored by the Contract
Administrator, who should analyze actual spend vs. authorization expenditure limit,
actual quantities vs. target quantities, expiration date.
Manage contract amendments; the Contract Administrator is involved in the collection,
evaluation and approval of contract amendments. The amendment is signed by an
authorized Sadara Representative, according to Delegation of Authority.
Manage contract issues and disputes; any issue identified within contract execution is
analyzed by the Contract Administrator, who should verify if the issue is a legitimate
case of incompliance to terms & conditions. The issue is then addressed to solution,
being the Negotiator the escalation point when the issue should be formalized.
Close out the contract; the Contract Administrator verifies that obligations are met by
both parties and aligns with the Supplier in regard to the final payment release. The
contract is closed in the e-Sourcing system by Procurement Support Services Team.
Post close out analysis; post execution feedback and lessons learned are collected and
documented by the Contract Administrator and shared with Procurement for further
analysis and consolidation.
