Intaj Alamal is looking for a Yard Supervisor to manage daily yard operations, optimize container flow, supervise staff, and ensure safety compliance.

🎯 Key Responsibilities | المهام والمسؤوليات

1. Yard Operations Management – إدارة عمليات الساحة

  • Supervise daily container movements (receiving, stacking, shifting, dispatching).

  • Ensure optimal yard space utilization.

  • Coordinate with transport & gate operations for smooth workflow.

  • Manage container inspection, damage reporting & segregation.

2. Team Supervision – الإشراف على الفريق

  • Supervise operators, yard clerks & staff.

  • Schedule shifts & allocate tasks.

  • Train staff on SOPs, Safety & Equipment Handling.

3. Equipment & Safety – المعدات والسلامة

  • Monitor usage & maintenance of yard equipment (RTG, Reach Stackers).

  • Enforce HSE standards & company safety policies.

  • Conduct toolbox talks & ensure proper PPE usage.

4. Documentation & Reporting – التوثيق والتقارير

  • Maintain accurate yard inventory using TOS (Terminal Operating System).

  • Verify status of containers (empty, loaded, damaged, special).

  • Generate daily/weekly operations reports.

5. Coordination & Communication – التنسيق والتواصل

  • Liaise with shipping lines, transporters & customs.

  • Resolve operational issues (congestion, delays, misplaced containers).

6. Health & Safety – الصحة والسلامة

  • Maintain a safe yard environment.

  • Ensure compliance with safety & environmental policies.

📌 Job Requirements | شروط التقديم

🎓 Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

🧠 Experience

  • 3–5 years in Yard or Terminal Operations.

  • 1–2 years minimum in a supervisory role.

🛠 Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of TOS Systems, container handling, RTG/Reach Stacker operations.

  • Strong understanding of yard workflows & efficiency optimization.
