Al-Jamila Hospital is growing, and we need a Finance Manager to guide our financial systems and empower us. We’re searching for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team of high-performing professionals to help keep our finances insightful and instrumental to our continued success. The Finance Manager will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on hospital operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. This seasoned strategist not only understands current accounting practices and trends, but has proven experience raising capital and adapting to change–both in growth and downsizing.
As a member of our senior management, he or she will be comfortable in a leadership role that demands clear communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities
- Responsible, either directly or by managing small group of staff , for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the hospital’s financial strategy and hiring needs.
- Focus on all daily and month-end accounting procedures for the account results, including P&L activity (management fees, fee splits, gross-up entries, reclasses, etc.), balance sheet activity (deferrals, accruals); accounts receivable /cash application in compliance with Egyptian Law.
- Ensure cash flow is compatible with hospital operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the Al-Jamila Hospital.
- Coordinate the development of the annual operating, capital, and program budgets, and reporting against the same.
- Lead the development and use of best-practice policies, practices, and tools that ensure a well-controlled yet flexible with strong fiscal management, cross team communications and workflow.
- Comply with law, and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing compliance, and taking action.
- Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Support in the implementation of valuation models, development of ongoing measurement, tracking performance versus expectations, and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Provide insight on spending trends and cost-savings initiatives and margin opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
- Master’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
- 10+ years experience in financial or accounting.
- Knowledge of securities, insurance, and mutual fund industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
Skills
- 5+ years experience in executive leadership positions
- Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
- Working knowledge of raising capital beyond traditional lines of credit
