CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of Integrated Facilities and Corporate Real Estate Management.
We are currenlty recruiting for an Area General Manager to lead the GWS (Global Workplace Solutions) business of CBRE in Saudi Arabia, based in Riyadh or Dammam.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing business operations, client relationship, country P&L, business development, team building, support supply chain, ensure compliance with QHSE and legal regulations and support project management.
Key accountabilities:
Country Management
Overall management of CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions business in Saudi Arabia
Lead the day-to-day delivery of a Country with full operational responsibility.
Comprehensive understanding of the overall business strategy, brand, products and services in order to effectively leverage for client and GWS success.
Ensures fair treatment of suppliers at all times, professional supplier management and arbitration of disputes.
Focuses on ensuring excellent service levels are always maintained.
Responsible for adherence to business controls and CBRE processes and procedures
Manage relationship with JV partner and wider CBRE functions like QHSE, Sourcing, HR etc.
Prepare and present monthly divisional reports for the Regional MD and quarterly reports for the Board

Ensures in-country team has the skills and motivation to carry out their roles to best of their abilities. This includes all staff attending the Company induction day and mandatory relevant training.
Ensures that no member of direct team has ambiguity over scorecard targets, objectives, and continual achievement against these targets or their perceived general performance.

Demonstrate focus on improved diversity
Business Development
Formulates local business and sales plans in response to anticipated economic and market trends.
Collaborates with account leads to capture expanded growth opportunities; supports competitive renewals (ensure existing stakeholder relationships are respected and managed effectively)
Responsible for pipeline creation and primary owner of the opportunity assessment and related processes
Responsible for securing and winning new business in accordance with agreed targets.
Financial
Manage country P&L account alongside Account Leads and local Finance
Own and deliver against country budgets, liaising with matrix budget holders for cross country/divisional clients.
Lead S1/ O1 preparation for all new and existing clients
Monitor aging of receivables and ensure timely action for collection
Review and approve all payables and receivables incl. payroll, supplier payments, statutory payments, client billing etc.
Administration & Legalisation
1. Act as CBRE representative in country by following up on all legal and administration matters in front of the authorities.
Quality, Environment, Health and Safety
1. Monitor, review and analyse country’s QHSE performance
2. Ensure the implementation of the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental strategy for the country in collaboration with the Regional QHSE Manager
3. Creates a culture of exceptional quality and innovation.Sets an example of exceptional standards in all activities, language and communications

Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelors Degree (Masters desirable)
Best practices in FM industry
Commercial acumen for P&L management
Supply chain management
Understanding of local regulations & legal aspects
QHSE knowhow
Project Management insight
Must possess a deep understanding of country politics to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Ability to drive growth and this with an entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to communicate the vision for the business, whilst managing the day to day deliverables
Good leadership & team building skills
Ability to critical analyse data and review complex contracts.
Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups
Excellent command of English & Arabic languages
