Senior Service Engineer – Measurement Solutions (Egypt)

The Service Engineer shall ensure we provide quality, professional, and profitable after-sales support & service to the Emerson Rosemount customer base in Egypt and North Africa for all Rosemount Measurement, Analytical Products and Systems including Fire & Gas Detectors, SWAS, Liquid Analyzers, Combustion Analyzers, Continuous Gas Analyzers, CEMS, Process Gas Chromatographs & Radar Tank Gauging system.The incumbent will also be expected to work proactively work with customers to grow after-sales services revenue .
This is an incredibly independent role where strong customer focus and solid analytical experience is key.

- Carrying out supervision of installation and commissioning, fault analysis / investigation and repairs on Rosemount Measurement & Analytical products
- Using diagnostic tools and software to assist with installation / commissioning / on-line fault rectification
- Demonstrating, calibrating and retrofitting the Emerson range of Measurement & Analytical field devices
- Compiling service Reports / Time Sheets and Obtaining customer sign off for work undertaken
- Liaising with Divisional Engineering / Manufacturing centers in Europe / USA / Asia
- Supporting Service Job Planning for Egyptian Service and Training jobs
- Supporting sales activities with required support, like surveys, and customer meetings
- Coordinating with Local Business Partners and clients’ multiple jobs
- Coordinating warranty, maintenance & repair activities for Return Material Authorization
- Developing a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
- Owning the responsibility for the performance and development of the Sales Provide field operations support to customers in accordance to with the terms of the customer contract and AMC
- Carrying out troubleshooting, repairs and servicing of workshop equipment’s, enable hardware and software at Customers premises to the highest standards
- Updating of CRM on daily basis by driving Quote to Order follow up process
- Visiting customers, consultants, end users and transmitting our technology expertise to them
- Supporting the achievement of the assigned target in terms of budget revenue and unit sales for that particular region
- Providing customers with timely price quotations, sustainable products and latest technologies best designed to meet the customers’ needs
- Recognising and accepting HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emerson’s Company Procedures

To succeed, you’ll need to demonstrate:
- Qualified to a minimum of degree level in an Engineering discipline
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Service or Instrument Engineer in a process control environment with a particular emphasis on commissioning and start-up of on-line analyzers, or experience in the repair and servicing of Emerson Measurement & Analytical products/systems and /or competitor products & systems
- A solid understanding of C&I theory, operation & maintenance of on-line liquid, gas analyzers, gas chromatographs and shelter knowledge
- Have a sound knowledge of Emerson analytical products (application, service & operation)
- Ability to conduct customer training on theory, operation and maintenance of analyzers
- The inherent desire to exceed customer expectations at every opportunity
- Comfortable with extensive travel
- Ability to communicate effectively. Must be proficient in the English language & Arabic
