An opportunity has arisen to work for a multi-national company based in Egypt. This is a green field venture that requires a self-starter who is keen to be part of our efforts to expand our footprint into North Africa. The company provides extensive engineering and operational support from within the Middle East and Africa region.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for growing our customer base in North Africa, mainly Egypt and Morocco. The focus will be on project-based drive solutions for medium to large customers. Currently the focus is on the water industry.
There will be extensive travel required within North Africa.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement successful strategies and tactics within the Region.
- To identify, develop and win both existing & new business within the direct channels (Distributors & System Integrators), OEM’s & End Users to market through formulation and implementation of a complementary and comprehensive North Africa Business Strategy Plan.
- To grow the drives and servo-motors sales, meeting set agreed targets and to become the Sales team authority in the defined channel market segments.
Essential criteria:
- Professional qualification in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering.
- Degree educated
- Strong commercial technical background in Drives and Servomotors.

- System and application knowledge within a related industry.
- Degree in Finance, Marketing or Business Management
