Job Description – Senior Consultant -IFRS
Exciting contract opportunity to work within a fast paced Telecoms organization leading the implementation of IFRS 9/15/16.
Main responsibilities:•Lead and drive the IFRS 16 project – Have full responsibility and accountability for the project
•Understand the impact of IFRS16 to the client and the shareholders and educate affected people
•Document the E2E process and define RACI on identifying, evaluating, accounting and on-going maintenance of the lease register and information sources
•Propose accounting policy and detailed accounting procedures (including cut-over method and on-going process)
Must have experience of:
•ACA or ACCA qualified
•Very strong project management skills
•Ability to understand, document, and re-engineer processes
•Experience of sourcing, understanding and managing data in complex environment
•Data cleanse experience
•Very strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
•Telecom domain experience preferred
Note: This role requires frequent travelling to Middle East Countries.(80%)
