Job description:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for supervising and managing the accounting department and all areas of financial reporting. We are looking for someone to develop and maintain accounting principles, and systems for collecting, analyzing and reporting information.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Maintain full set of accounting books and ensure timely closing of accounts.
- Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries.
- Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to staff and management as requested.
- Set up and monitor accounting KPIs.
- Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
- Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, fixed asset activity, debt activity ,etc.
- prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process.
- Ensuring that all accounting processes align with Egyptian GAAP and current financial legislation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- +10 years of experience.
- CMA is required.
- Excellent English language (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of SAP system is preferable.
- Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping software and MS Office.
- Strong organization skills, flexibility and the ability to set priorities.
- Pays strict attention to detail.
Working conditions:
- Location: 4th Industrial zone, 6th of October, Giza governorate, Egypt
- 8 working hours
- 2 days off ( Friday and Saturday)
