Objective:
Sr. accountant is responsible for the examining, analyzing, and preparing financial records and statements for an organization. They often provide input and advice on financial matters including those systems used to track and record costs and expenses. Knowledge of tax strategies and preparation are typically utilized as well.

Duties and Tasks:
- Builds the basis of the company’s accounting system.
- Posts and processes journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Summarizes the current financial status by collecting information, preparing different financial statements such as the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow and others.
- Updates accounts receivable and issue invoices.
- Updates accounts payable and performs reconciliations.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing accounting information.
- Prepares customer statements, bills and invoices, and reconcile expenses.
- Maintains and manages relationships with different stakeholders such as banks, vendors, clients, etc. job requirements.
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Complies with all financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Accomplishes the result by performing the duty.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Variiance طالبين Senior Accountant
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a relevant field of study.
- Post graduate diploma or equivalent degree is preferable.
- 3 – 5 years experience in the same role.
