Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership
Responsible for planning Microwave links using planning tool issuing link budget.
Responsible for backhaul transport capacity availing for Radio 2G/3G/4G over MW
Responsible for DCN design and IP sub-netting
Microwave Links swap/upgrade software/Hardware
Ethernet design for Vodafone Business over MW
HW expansions for existing MW/MPLS nodes
MW links Performance KPIs monitoring and optimization (Utilization, Delay, Jitter, ACM, RSL …etc)
Experience with managing mega projects delivered across different location in the world with culture/time zone diversity

Core Competencies, Knowledge And Experience
Minimum 6 years of deep experience in transmission networks & systems planning.
Blu Nexus Microwave planning tool experience (or any similar tool),
Link budget preparation: Propagation models, Interference analysis, MW Multipath/Rain availability planning and XPIC/MIMO links design
Cramer 9 Transport planning experience
SIAE microwave nodes experience
New Infinera (Tellabs) MPLS node planning.
IPRAN Low Level Design experience (IP sub-netting)
SDH planning (MW Nokia and Ericsson (Marconi) platforms)
Nokia MPR/MSS synchronisation planning
Must Have Technical/professional Qualifications
People management skill. Capable of manging without direct authority.
In depth analytical skills, strong stakeholder management & customer focus up to C level.
Deliver results by creating “a can do” & goal oriented environment.
Ability to manage in a changing environment by displaying sound judgement while thinking laterally and innovatively
Excellent oral & written communications skills.
