Overview

To ensure that NES Global provides 100% compliant solutions across all territories, whilst at the same time ensuring a framework of excellent financial control, financial reporting and cash flow management that facilitates the business to meet its commercial growth targets. To act with integrity at all times and to provide an environment in which the financial department can continue to develop to meet the needs of the growing organization.

The responsibilities and deliverables of the Finance Manager have been detailed below, separated into the responsibilities and key deliverables of the key departments that report into the Financial Manager.

1) Management Accounts The key responsibilities within management accounts are as follows:

– Production of P&L reporting pack each month end showing actual results against budget/ forecast. This is to be reviewed with relevant Operations Manager and Finance Director and approved for submission to Group in line with agreed month end timetable.

– Production of balance sheet reporting pack each month end, showing full reconciliation for every balance sheet nominal code in use. This is to be submitted to FD for review every month in line with submission of P&L reporting pack to the UK.

– Complete month end KPI report for UK in line with month end timetable.

– Attend monthly foreign exchange hedging calls and actively manage/ monitor foreign exchange exposures, ensuring no cross currency deals and minimising foreign currency balance exposures each month.

– Prepare monthly rolling forecast for the region

– Attend monthly cashflow calls with UK to review forecast and discuss cash forecasting processes.

– Actively manage and optimise cash flow via management of clients/ suppliers.

2) Credit Control and Invoicing The key responsibilities within credit control and invoicing are as follows:

– Manage a team of regional credit controllers across the region to ensure efficient debt management

– Build rapport with clients and ensure debts are paid in line with credit terms. – Ensure there is no debt over 30 days overdue.

– Prepare monthly overdue debt report for the region

– Manage relevant Receivables Financing facility reporting requirements.

– Ensure credit checking completed for all new clients in line with detailed procedures.

3)   Other The key other responsibilities are as follows:

– Manage Statutory Audits ensuring clean audit opinion achieved Meet the required Group timetable for statutory audits and reporting.

– Responsible for tax compliance in country ensuing that all personal income tax, social security, withholding tax, corporation tax, VAT and any other relevant statutory or taxation filings and payments are done within regulatory deadlines.

– Preparation and review of annual budgets and half yearly 6+6 forecast.

– Review relevant areas of client contracts to ensure that payroll, taxation, invoicing and credit terms are acceptable to NES Global Talent.

– Responsible for assisting Operations Managers/ Regional Directors for all pricing/ pricing models for new business development/ tender opportunities.

– Developing pro-active and strong relationships with the finance departments of all major clients.

– Working with the Regional Director to develop and drive regional strategy.

– Provide any other regional financial assistance to Operations, Commercial, HR and IT departments as required.

– Ensure regional compliance for labour law ( EOSB, Sick Leave, Annual Leave) and Wage Protection System across all clients

– Assist with setting up new offices / regions as the business expands in the region

– Manage a large team of finance professionals across multiple offices including shared support offices in India and Kuala Lumpur

– Build a relationship with key internal stakeholders to drive strategy

– Assist with integration of acquisitions – acquiring other manpower businesses is a key strategy of NES Group

– Manage the monthly internal staff payroll process to ensure all NES staff are paid on time and compliantly each month

– Any other ad-hoc projects as and when they arise
