Description
The primary responsibility of the Sales Manger (Flowmeter Products) will be to take a leadership role to develop, direct and manage all Measurement and Flow sales, service and educational services activities in Egypt with a clear focus on demand creation and growing market participation, as well as positioning Measurement Solutions as the Supplier of First Choice in the region. This position is based out of Cairo office.
The Sales Manager will take ownership for business/accounts (end-users and EPCs) strategic to EMERSON Measurement Solutions’ core businesses in the country. A top priority will be maintaining and cultivating key relationships and business/project activities within country accounts.

Responsibilities
- Drive for full scope of supply (i.e. supplier of first choice) for EMERSON Measurement & Flow products within the respective customers (National Oil Companies, International Oil Companies, Petrochemcial, Refinery, EPCs & local partners).
- Manage and implement pricing/buying agreements (T&Cs) within strategic accounts.
- Work with the Customer Care (Inside Sales Representatives) to generate quotes, provide technical information, and support strategic customers (end-users and EPCs).
- Provide input on competitive enhancements and positioning, customer preferences, project activity, and other competitive/market data.
- Maintain and manage bookings quota that is to be reported monthly for sales and forecasting purposes.
- Prepare and submit Monthly Forecasts.
- Establish plans and strategies to protect, grow & forecast the Measurement & Flow core business.
- Own and develop country plan to capture key initiative within assigned territory and measure progress made.
- Participate in industry functions and trade shows.
What do I need to be considered for this opportunity?
To be considered for this opportunity, you should be educated to a Bachelor’s Degree level in an engineering discipline and possess a minimum of 4 years of sales experience at enterprise level. You should also be f amiliar with field and analytical instrumentation and have a solid u nderstanding of local approval processes in Egypt.
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 – 5 years (min) of sales experience
- Be extremely familiar with field and analytical instrumentation
- Have a solid understanding of local approval processes
- Have proven experience in Measurement and Flow Technologies with a track record of success in sales and sales management
- Demonstrate a solid planning ability and strategic mindset
- Have experience with enterprise solutions, working with/on teams, and large project management in complex organizations is a plus.
