About the Job
· Java developer responsibilities include designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications and delivering high-availability and performance: Design and Test Software: Once the development plan is in place, Senior Java developers work with colleagues to design, test, and develop software to fulfill the project.
· They also recommend upgrades to exist programs as required.
· Create Plan Diagrams: Designing a system requires a detailed plan of how each aspect of the application will work as one, Create plans and models, often as flowcharts, that show programmers how the code will work together for the software.
· Write Documentation: Create documentation to detail how applications or systems work together to ensure they’re maintained properly in the future and to help with any upgrades.
· Collaborate to Create Software: Work with other computer specialists and collaborate with teams within the company to develop software.
· They write or amend code for either stand-alone applications or those that access servers to create optimum systems for the business.
· Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
· Write well designed, testable, efficient code
· Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
· Prepare and produce releases of software components
· Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review job requirements

· Expertise with JSF, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks
· Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP web services
· Strong knowledge of OO design and Java EE patterns
· Experience with Web model view controller (MVC) frameworks
· Experience with web technologies including JavaScript, JQuery
· SQL and stored procedures (preferably MySQL)
· Familiar with Ant, Maven, and Gradle
· Continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
· JUnit, TestNG, unit testing, test automation, and mocking frameworks
· Familiar with SVN and Mercurial
· Familiar with Cloud Computing concepts
· Agile software development methodologies
· BS in computer .science or equivalent
