Job Summary
Typically reporting to Territory Finance Director. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager works closely with senior management to increase a company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plan
Responsibilities
Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business’s medium to long term financial and strategic plan
Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors. lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
Utilizing BI tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance
Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost saving initiatives
Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability

Costing Role
Plan, organize and direct all the activities of the cost accounting function
Support the Costing Team in the development of a standard costing system
Development and maintenance of standard costs
Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis
Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operations management
Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers
Define policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities
Qualification & Skills
Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or any other related field.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant analytical experience
Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools
Strong quantities abilities
Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages.
Significant skillset with SAP, Material Ledger, BI and FIEX.
Professional qualification such as CMA
Manufacturing experience with Pharma Industry
