The Egypt BD Manager is expected to lead the business strategy and operations for Egypt business. The lines of businesses include VIU SVOD (involving both D2C and carrier partnerships) and browser-based carrier products. The role requires maintaining carrier relationships and driving partnerships for revenue growth. The position works closely with all internal and external cross-functional groups to ensure fulfillment of client requirements & product performance as per targets.

Roles and Responsibilities :
1) Lead the business strategy, operations & development for own account
Own overall VIU SVOD revenues targets for Egypt
Operate as the lead point of contact for the carriers (Vodafone, Orange, Etisalat, TE)
Drives account strategy and ensure work adheres to strategic direction
Lead all operational activities for the product to ensure performance as per targets
Track business metrics like revenues, new acquisitions, un-subscriptions, engagement on a regular basis and ensure all meet set targets
Drive business improvements using analytical tools/insights
2) Build and maintain strong and long-lasting customer relationships
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with the carrier/partners
Planning & execution of campaigns along with carriers
Lead client meetings including areas of operational improvements, presentation of new ideas and analytical reports (from daily to monthly overview reports)
3) Project Management
Facilitate proactive resolution of any issues related to the carrier or product
Implement industry best practices and share insights on trends with client for feasibility study and launch
Accesses opportunities and competitive activities for the product by benchmarking against other products in the market and providing roadmap for improvements
Champion the product performance internally within the company to ensure smooth product performance and ensure modifications/new feature addition happens on time
Manage internal organization and external client expectations
Skills and Competencies:
10+ years of total experience preferably in telecom digital business or account management
Understanding of OTT, Mobile VAS, WAP platforms or mobile ecosystem or the media industry
Strong relationship management skills
Strong analytical skills. Should be able to understand and drive business using data
Highly result oriented and self-driven
Good presentation skills with an ability to influence
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and in a fast paced environment
