Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the Business Analysis funciton (requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, presentation & signoff for big & complicated projects).
  • Work together with the Projects Managers to plan (consolidated WBS) and execute (follow-ups and corrections) projects, ensures that teams have direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.
  • Work closely with the System Architecture & Design, and Software Engineering functions to make sure of facilitating the systems’ functional and non-functional requirements, and ensures teams understands.
  • Manage all tools, processes, methodologies, and standards for requirements gathering, documentation and analysis.
  • Explore all potential opportunities to enhance, improve, and refine Analysis processes.
  • Co-operate with other departments to enhance cross-functional processes.
  • Drive the requirement gathering effort for projects including managing the expectations of the project manager, the stakeholders, the project team and executive management.
  • Allocate resources adequately to ensure maximum billable utilization.
  • Oversee Requirements delivery ensuring that appropriate processes and standards are followed.
  • Oversee allocated BA, SBA & Lead BA’s, including planning, delivery reviews and developing of formal corrective actions required for meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Develop templates and mockups as per the System Analysis Process.
  • Work closely with the Technical Practice Managers and their teams to ensure researches and Proof of Concept development to assess any new idea/technology/tool related to software development.

Management & Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.
  • Monitor individual employees’ performance, conducts performance reviews of team members and gives them feedback.
  • Make promotion, and salary increases recommendations if and when applicable and as per the HR Processes.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • 15+ years of experience in Software Development & Business Analysis.
  • Experience in managing Business Analysis function.
  • CBAP certified.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
  • Experience in banking solutions and business workflows is a plus.
